Q120. Is weekly monitoring of both gas flow and methane concentration allowed?

A120. No, landfill gas flow must be monitored continuously.  Methane concentration can be monitored monthly if continuous monitoring is not already in place.  Please note that the methane concentration in the landfill gas is required to be measured once each calendar month.  If only one measurement is made each calendar month, there must be at least fourteen days between measurements.
